Benefits of our ENVIRON Paint Process

Low Maintenance

ENVIRON thermoplastic acrylic topcoats form a protective film that provides and effective barrier against
the harmful effects of ultraviolet light, pollutants, abrasive agents and acid rain. Under normal conditions,
maintaining the appearance of ENVIRON coated units required minimal effort.

Proven system with proven warranty.

ENVIRON system is superior to field-applied finished and comparable to most aluminum cladding.

ENVIRON is an industrial grade paint, not an architectural (household) grade.

Once painted with ENVIRON, windows and doors can be painted again with brush or spray-applied paint of
any brand.

Our Step-by-Step Finish Process

Raw Wood Moisture Seal
For optimum performance, all end-grain members are sealed (unlike most manufacturers) to keep out
moisture during the building assembly process. End-grain members left unsealed are normally the first
cause of a wood product failing.

Primer Applied
Two coats of ENVIRON modified Acrylic Primer with 60.19% of applied primer being solid. Solids enable
spraying a heavy coat of primer without running or the primer spraying into the air.

Top Coat Applied
Three coats of ENVIRON top coat paint applied with 56.5% of the paint being solids.

This detailed process testifies to our commitment of
quality in every Dutch Door.
